This is the perfect home for a family vacation or just a few close friends wanting to get away and relax. This house features upscale furniture and decor. On the first level there is a den area complete with a Queen sofa sleeper, wine cooler, wet bar and two of the three bedrooms. One bedroom has a king size bed and the other two twins. There are private bathrooms in each bedroom. A patio area is located off the den area and one of the bedrooms. The second level features the master bedroom, with a full bath and private balcony, the living room and the kitchen area. The master bathroom has a Jacuzzi style tub and separate shower with multiple jets. The master bedroom also has a king size bed with tapestry palm tree bedding. A washer and dryer are provided in the hallway. A half bath is located off the kitchen area. There is a covered balcony located off the living area for enjoying the cool ocean breezes. This house is very near the ocean and there is a boardwalk right outside the door, for easy access over the dunes. This home is also close to the community pool..The house has flat screen TV's throughout. This home is not pet friendly and smoking is permitted on the patio areas. There is no garage access.   The house is beautiful and includes a view of the ocean from the second floor. Beach access is just across the street and Port A is small so nothing is far away.
  The only problem is the stove because the writing on the control knobs has been cleaned away. It works but that was an issue. Otherwise everything was fine. The bathrooms were very big and nice and very clean.
  Also the folks at the rental agency were very efficient and I loved the keypad lock so we did not have to worry about someone losing their keys! And easy check in and check out! I loved that part because we have rented beach properties in many different places.

  This is a fabulous rental property. Beautifully decorated, but durable for beach and sand. It is right across from the boardwalk so very easy to get to the beach. We were very disappointed though, because we reserved it a year ago, and then once we arrived this year, found out that the view of the ocean was blocked due to many houses being built all around it. This was our fault for not checking, but amazing what one year can do.

  Awesome time with girl friends ... three of us each had our own bed/bath with space to do our own thing. The details and construction of the house is stupendous. The balcony is perfect with an open view to the beach (hoping a new house is not built between this house and the beach as we plan on going back next year). 5 minute walk to the beach and pool. Although this is a subdivision with quite a bit of new construction occurring, we did not find the noise to be obtrusive and the workers were very respectful. I rated 4 stars on general condition and cleanliness for minute reasons - the TV in the twin bedroom did not work, there were dirty dishes in the dishwasher and sugar ants on the kitchen counters. However, I am the events coordinator for a 725 acre retreat and conference center; hence, I notice such things. None of these matters were a deal-breaker. You walk into this house and immediately feel at home. The policies and procedures are clearly defined and quite reasonable. Kudos to the property management company and to the owners of this home. Also, having searched many a property, the rental price of this home is well worth the money - VERY FAIR and much appreciated.

  We booked this last minute with 2 other couples as our planned 4 night cruise vacations were canceled at the last minute due to the Carnival ship issues. The staff at Port A Escapes was nothing short of excellent in assisting us to find the rental home. Our group of 6 was all so impressed with how beautiful the house and location was, the setup was perfect for 3 couples with all separate bedrooms and bathrooms and multiple decks with living areas. The views from the top decks were gorgeous, and every amenity in the home was perfect. It truly was a perfect beach getaway and absolutely a 5 star experience from start to finish. We will be back!

  When we realized we wouldn't be able to pick up the key by 5:00 p.m. check-in deadline, we phoned in around 4:00 p.m. to make arrangements on how to pick up the keys. We were asked if we had pre-paid in advance, which we had, and were told that there would be a lock box on the front door of the property and were given a code to open it. When we arrived to the property later that afternoon, there was no lock box on the front door. I became worried, which is not how we wanted to start our Valentine's Day getaway. We went to the rental office and luckily as my wife was phoning in to speak to the answering service, a lady pulled in behind us and asked us if we needed any help. She worked there and was able to help us. Our keys were on the counter. We were extremely lucky she was driving by and noticed us. The rest of the weekend went as nicely as we had hoped. Our only complaints are the lights from the neighboring hotel shine through the shutters in the master bedroom. You can hear the vehicles come and go from their parking lot, too. Also, the front portch light was left on across the street that shined through the shutters, too. The neighbors next door had several guests who were very loud on the patio, so we hung out on the patio outside the master bedroom instead of the covered patio, but we understand that people get excited to be on vacation on the island. The weather got more beautiful each day, cool but sunny and sadly, the most perfect day was the day we had to leave. I wish check-out was at noon instead of eleven so we could have had our lunch on the patio.

  Upon arrival, Paradise Found was clean; the bed linens were crisp, the towels were fluffy, the granit in the kitchen was shiny and the refrigerator was spotless and smelled as if it had just been freshly disinfected. We enjoyed the ocean view from the narrow horizontal kitchen windows while we ate at the dining table. On our first day, the wind blew so hard that it toppled the patio furniture on the covered second floor patio so we reported some damage to the coffee table leg to the management company. They offered to repair it immediately, but we were eager to start our vacation without worrying about repairs being done. Our only disappointment was the sound of construction on both sides of the house on Monday, Presidents Day. Also, to no fault of Paradise Found, from the upstairs bedroom, instead of an ocean view, we had a view of three floors of new construction framing. I was leary of showering with the construction going on because the upstairs bathroom windows had no curtains or blinds. We most enjoyed the convenience of the boardwalk to the beach. Overall, it was a pleasant and relaxing stay.

  We never thought we'd be able to find the perfect vacation house, but at 923BB, we did. The house was ready when we arrived; the grass was green and freshly watered, the a/c was set to the perfect temperature, the house was clean and the furnishings were very sturdy and comfortable. The swimming pool in the comlex was very refreshing. What we enjoyed was the convenient location to the boardwalk leading to the beach, but what made the trip was the view of the ocean from the second floor covered patio. All in all, we had a very relaxing vacation at the house.

  Great place and fantastic location. Boardwalk was one of the best we have had and we stay in Port A all the time...over the past 40 years. The house had everything that we needed and was beautifully decorated. As with a lot of properties...two car spaces are just not enough for a house that size. The garage is not available for keep that in mind. Overall, I would recommend this property very highly. We will stay again until we purchase our own property there.

  The house was amazing, everything that I had researched and wanted in a rental! The property management could be stronger, they weren't bad, just not a lot of communication. It would have been nice to know that certain items were not part of our agreement i.e coffee filters. We have never stayed at a VRBO location and not had coffee filters supplied, that was just a little thing but, for $500 a night you could let us know to bring our own. The master bath shower was also not working correctly. It seems that there was not enough pressure to make the jets work properly. Not a biggie, just a dissapointment. We arrived at the pool one morning and the maintenance man had just left however, the pool was a mess with tons of debris from wind. I called the management and it was clean on our next trip down so they were very respondent on that note. This is a lovely property, niceley appointed and has an amazing view of the gulf. Defintely worth a stay!

  We had the great fortune of staying two weeks at this house which is a beautiful place and set up very well. My wife and I enjoyed the upstairs and our kids and friends had the downstairs. I loved the deck and spent every morning and evening gazing at the gulf and enjoying the gulf breezes. With the boardwalk right outside the door, it is very convenient to the beach as well.
  
  My only complaint is not having access to one side of the garage. We had some fishing poles stolen from the front porch while we were there so don't leave any of your things outside if possible.

  The house is amazing, comfortable, and so close to the beach!! But, it is also closer to some not so nice areas of PortA. Some cars were broken into within the very small neighborhood during our stay and we saw the police at neighboring condos on more than 1 occasion.

  This is an awesome property, close walk to beach and spacious. I had family in from Colorado and they loved it. My best friend and her family stayed at another property but hung out at our house all day. Dinner was for 17 every night and there were plenty of places for everyone to eat. We will be back next year. Also, thanks to Lorna and Brenda at Port A Escapes for all their help and friendliness.
